When Liam first started expressing his needs verbally well over a year ago, he would sternly say "Go Away". While this may sound cute at first, it had to be change...so we had to come up with something very similar but much nicer. We finally decided on "Privacy, Please" which, fortunately, caught on like wildfire. So, now it is used in nearly every situation where he needs, well, privacy.
It was funny, though, today when he had to use the bathroom. He told me he had to go, went on in and shut the door. I came to the door, knocked and opened it to check on him and found, to my surprise, him sitting on the potty asking me for privacy, please. Taken aback, I apologized and shut the door...then I went snickering around the corner.
They absorb everything! And if it's the right things....it's so darn cute!!!

- I'm a stay-at-home mom of our three year old son,Liam. I am truly fortunate to be married for 16 years to my loving and meticulously hard working husband and friend, Billy. He supports and recognizes my role in the home with utmost importance and truly believes it to be beneficial to our family. We're proud of our decision to make being home with Liam a priority in our daily lives as we are his first teachers in all that he does. We are very fortunate to have found and belong to St. John's Catholic Church & School and are quite happy here...our pastor is a wonderful man of God. We enjoy his sincerity and humor! We look forward to growing in our new parish as it grows into it's new location of 50 acres. My parents are Liam's Godparents as well as his Grandparents. Although there are nearly 500 miles separating us, they are an important part of his faith and ours, too. We are so thankful to have friends and family like them who inspire us in our ever growing spiritual paths. Thank you for taking the time to read our blog and for being part of our lives! Isn't it funny how he wants privacy but he'll still come running out of the bathroom with all of his bottom clothing completely off when he no longer needs that privacy. He is a character!!!
