Gandma & Papa!!!

Liam was so excited to see his Gandma & Papa!!! With a big smile and arms raised, he greeted them from his bedroom doorway shouting Papa and Gandma!!!

Grandma has had so many names starting with Bma, Mma, Mama and now Gandma which I'm certain will become Grandma and even more certain makes my mom very happy! Papa hasn't had as much time to share with Liam thus far as he's been helping care for my Grandmother who has been in the hospital for several days now (my mom and I went to see her last night...she's doing really well!). Today is her 93rd birthday...Happy Birthday, MiMi (as Liam calls her).

Liam is a very busy little fellow. He is non-stop energy from the moment his feet hit the floor until his head hits the pillow. He is also very affectionate and I've enjoyed witnessing his tender moments with Gandma the past few days. He has asked about his Papa and spoke on the phone with him a couple times as well which here lately is a feat in itself as he doesn't like our new phone. I'm sure when Papa returns from MiMi's, he and Liam will be back up to their old tricks!

We are all so happy to be enjoying a visit from Gandma & Papa...thanks again for making the long trip!!!

Gandma and Papa are so glad that they made the drive from Atlanta to Georgetown on Thursday. We loved the greeting we received as we walked in the front door and Liam spied us from his bedroom door upstairs.
Liam is truly affectionate and also all boy in that he wants to be on the go all the time. It is so much fun to be able to try and keep up with him. Thank God he loves books so that we are able to sit now and then to read with him. Such a change has taken place since our visit at Christmas! His ability to carry on full conversations and the "it's mine" stage setting in are two big changes that have occured.
It was very enjoyable to attend Liam's present school's Open House to meet the teachers and visit the classrooms today. Liam was a great tour guide!
We are all happily awaiting Papa's return in a day or two as soon as Mimi is back home and situated. We all thank God for watching over her and her doctors as she has undergone many tests these past few days at Baptist East. We all wish Mimi a Happy 93rd Birthday today. Amy and I are so glad that we were able to spend some time with her yesterday and Liam wants to see her soon as soon as she is up to active visitors.

Papa always enjoys his visits with Liam and his family, but he needs more energy pills to keep up with Simba's greatest admirer. Liam is very affectionate and gregarious; he loves being with others. Looking forward to our next visit soon.
